This Standard Duty Gun Safe is designed to securely store your firearms with a maximum capacity of 20 long guns (average capacity: 12-16 long guns) and offers top-notch protection with 60 minutes of fireproofing at 1875°F. Constructed from 14-gauge steel, the safe features a composite 4 7/8” thick door reinforced with double layers of fireboard in the walls, ceiling, floor, and door jams. The door includes (10) 1.5” solid steel locking bolts, with (7) active chrome-plated bolts and (3) inactive bolts on the hinge side for comprehensive 4-sided bolt coverage.
Additional security features include a gear-driven locking system, a drill and ballistic-resistant hard plate, and an internal spring-loaded re-locking bolt to prevent unauthorized access during a burglary attempt. The heat-activated expandable door seal provides extra protection, sealing out smoke and water by expanding up to eight times its thickness in the event of a fire.
Inside, the fully upholstered grey interior includes a two-section gun rack that holds up to 10 long guns per section. The interior offers flexibility with (4) adjustable/removable shelves, including a full-length shelf (W: 25 1/8″ D: 9 ¾″) and (3) small shelves (W: 12″ D: 9 ¾″) designed for the right side of the rack.
Convenience features include a new custom door organizer kit, automatic interior LED lighting, and pre-drilled holes for a dehumidifier (1/2” diameter, drilled through steel at the back) and floor anchoring. Finished with a semi-gloss black powder coat, silver pin striping, and a polished chrome lever handle, the safe is both durable and stylish. Each purchase includes a free 200g silica gel rechargeable dehumidifier box to keep the interior dry.
