With a sturdy 3/16" steel door frame and an expanding heat-activated seal, this safe offers unbeatable protection against burglary and fire. Its continuously welded body guarantees ultimate durability.
Interior Finish: The interior walls of Sun Welding's H-24 Heirloom Series Home Burglar Fire Safe are lined with 5/8" fire board for increased protection. Crafted from solid 3/4" particle board and adorned with a velour fabric in various colors, the interior is meticulously built by hand. This safe offers versatile configurations, such as one rifle or a solid collector shelf interior, and includes six pre-drilled mounting holes on the bottom for simple floor bolting.
Exterior Finish: Choose from a variety of gloss paint finishes, meticulously hand-painted and adorned with hand-applied logos available in chrome, gold, or black. The safe features a single drop handle, adding a stylish finishing touch.
Bolt Works & Linkage: The Heirloom Series of safes is constructed with a unique bolt system designed to withstand and deter various types of attacks. Its durable cam drive and linkage are built to withstand immense pressure without any risk of damage. This safe is protected by six 1" diameter locking bolts, with three active on each side and three inactive on the hinge side, ensuring maximum security. Furthermore, it also features two re-lockers that are safeguarded by Armor Hard Plate and a 1/2" steel plate for enhanced strength and protection.
Group 2 Combination or Electronic Lock: The customer can select either a UL listed group 2 combination mechanical lock or an electronic lock for their Sun Welding H-24 Heirloom Series Home Burglar Fire Safe. Numerous leading manufacturers, including BigRed, S&G, LaGard, and SecuRam, are available with the added choice of EMP-proof redundant style locks.
Fire Rating: The Heirloom Series is equipped with fire insulation on all six sides, complemented by a heat-sensitive expanding fire seal that swells up to eight times its size to fill gaps around the door. The fire rating test involves placing the safe in an oven at 1200°F for a specified time, with the internal temperature reaching 350°F. The actual burn time depends on factors such as temperature and duration.
